Yes! Our Landlord's welcome international students as potential tenants for their apartments. The landlord can review a fully completed tenant application package, submitted by you, where you represent yourself as a valued tenant for the landlord's consideration.

Yes- you can rent by yourself, and yes- roommates are accepted. Each individual applying to live in a residential apartment unit will need to complete and submit the same tenant application package to the landlord.

On a per application basis THE RENTER'S PORTAL can initiate roommate(s) pairing for international students to secure affordable housing options with like minded applicants.

Tenant applications are completed individually, but you may request to live in the same apartment with your friend.

When you submit your tenant application to the landlord, you would need to make a two-month rental deposit. If your application is not approved, the Landlord does not process your rental deposit, and it is returned to you.

When your application is approved, your rental deposit secures your tenancy and would be applied to your first and last month’s rent.

THE RENTER'S PORTAL Landlord's require a one-year minimum tenancy which is secured through a standard apartment lease agreement.

If tenant's wish to stay on past the initial one-year term, they can do so on a month-to-month basis.

Unless specified otherwise, all apartments have shared bathrooms.

However, some apartments may have two bathrooms depending on the size of the unit, with the second bathroom usually being ensuite to the primary bedroom (therefore considered a private bathroom for that bedroom).

All apartments buildings usually have either in-unit or on-site laundry.

Parking may be provided for an additional fee. Please refer to the apartment profile you're interested in for details.

For students hoping for a budget-friendly option, flex space provides an area that may be less private than a separate bedroom, and is usually distinguished from common spaces with the use of a screen or other temporary furnishing.

All apartment buildings have entrance lobby's which have controlled access to the building, either through a concierge security desk, a key/fob, or enter code which would be required to access the building.
